Darin Kuhlmann

Industry veteran Darin Kuhlmann came to Los Angeles from Idaho. Starting in the Fox mailroom, he quickly ascended to other  production jobs at the studio before ending up at Orion Pictures. When that company went under, Kuhlmann moved into post production.

His superiors were impressed enough that they chose him to start a tiny trailer house and post company. Under Kuhlmann's management, what started out as a small, fledgling start up, soon blossomed into a full service post facility.  They produced campaigns for hit films such as War of the Worlds, Cars, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Austin Powers, Mission Impossible 3, and many others.

Other producing credits include the features The Road HomeLooking Through Lillian, and numerous shorts and music videos he's directed. His latest project is a biographical documentary called The Foolishness of God: Desmond Tutu and Forgiveness. In 2007 Kuhlmann traveled to South Africa to interview former Afrikaner secret police hired to assassinate Tutu, as well as the Bishop himself. Years in the making, it will be released in 2009.
